Do you have a roost in your neighbourhood, or regularly see bats flying and feeding? Every record is valuable so please submit details of any bats you see.

Since KBG’s formation in 1983 we have built up a dataset of more than 30,000 bat records. This vital resource is held at Kent & Medway Biological Records Centre and is consulted by developers, land managers and researchers, amongst others.

If you have sonograms to go with your records, please consider uploading them using iRecord. There is a dedicated page for bats, single or multiple records (the multiple records option is for bats recorded at the same location on a single date). Once logged in go to Record > Species group forms and select the relevant form. iRecord is free to join and easy to use. Otherwise please proceed to the form below.

If you are an ecologist and have multiple records you would like to share with us, please Contact Us.
